Writing my first article in Azerbaijani, "The Unopened Pages of Our History" was really a very important moment in my life. This article was about the untold stories of our past, the chapters of history that have not been given due attention or have not been discussed long enough. Being a Lezgi, I have always been deeply interested in our cultural heritage and events that took place in the history of our nation. Writing this piece in my own language felt like not simply sharing these stories with any other person, but relating to my own heritage most deeply.

This article is on the need to recognize all aspects of our history. History is not a matter of only victories and successes but also a chronicle of adversities and hurdles that have set the course of our nation. I bring forth these "unopened pages" with the hope of fostering dialogue and reflection about the full range of our history and the lessons it holds for the future.
Writing in Azerbaijani enabled me to express these ideas in a way that could be appealing to the local readers, especially those who might have never had the chance to engage with these hidden aspects of history. It felt like an act of empowerment because it provided me with the opportunity to contribute to a broader conversation about identity, culture, and the importance of remembering our past. This is not an article about history; it's about making sure that the stories of all people, past and present, are acknowledged and understood.
The insight this experience has given me is the power of language as a tool in shaping and connecting people to their very roots. I am proud of this article because, basically, it marked my writing journey, and I look forward to continuing the path to explore important topics that echo the rich history and bright future of our country.
